D&D today

In short: I LOVE DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS. This game is easily the best thing that has come into my life in a long time and I'm grateful that my local D&D community is filled with friendly, non-gatekeeping, folk.


My Sunday homebrew group today consisted of two Manticora (humanoid leonid creatures), two Kitsune (humanoid fox creatures who disguise themselves to look human), two Slitherin (humanoid rats) and an orc. We were sadly missing a Slitherin and an Ironbred (humanoid horse).

Major events (campaign is based in the Scarred Lands):
- Reunited the party
- Our barbarian nearly became a painting
- We travelled back in time 750 years to the start of the Titan War
- I went from a female Manticora to a male dwarf (made things interesting since the other Manticora is my brother)
- As a dwarf, I aged 42 years and another PC aged 6 years.
- We ran into the Fey Court and also my Goddess - who changed me back to a female Manticora and gave me a sweet boon
- My Wizard is on her way to becoming an alchemist and gathered a bunch of cool ingredients*
- Discovered the builder** of the mansion we had just been trapped in had sold us magical things in the present and knew we were time travelers. He kindly sent us back.
- We ran into two dragons and were smart enough to not fight them.
- There was a three-way dragon fight with a void dragon winning.
- We're running away real fast from the void dragon's territory, the void dragon destroyed the local town

*deposited in the bank in the town that the dragon just destroyed, crossing fingers the DM is a kind DM and says they were deposited at a central bank
